Interview With Kelli Publish

May 27, 2019 By Rachel Harrison-Sund

I’ve got a special treat for you today!

I recently sat down with Kelli Roberts, from the highly successful Kelli Publish YouTube channel, and we had a great conversation about all things low-content publishing.

Kelli has an extensive online business background—from eBay to Amazon FBA, Kindle, CreateSpace, ACX, and other print-on-demand platforms—and now earns a VERY handsome full-time income publishing low-content books through KDP.

I’ve known Kelli personally since 2015, when we met as students in an online romance publishing course, and we’ve been masterminding together ever since. In fact, Kelli is the person who introduced me to low-content publishing, so it’s no exaggeration to say that I wouldn’t have experienced the success I’ve had without her guidance.

With that said, I just know that you’re going to get a lot out of this video.

Here are some of the highlights, and where you can find them in the video:

2:09: How long was Kelli publishing before generating a full-time income?

4:20: How many books does Kelli publish, and what type?

5:35: Kelli’s book design process.

8:10: Kelli’s niche research process.

10:32: Kelli’s keyword research strategy.

13:12: Kelli’s publishing process.

16:31: Kelli’s book description tips.

17:12: Pen names and Author Central.

18:32: Kelli’s pricing strategy.

24:00: Advertising and other marketing methods.

28:00: How Kelli’s overall strategy has shifted over the last couple of years.

29:07: Mistakes new low-content publishers make.

32:15: Kelli’s tips for new low-content publishers.

Enjoy the interview, and make sure to follow Kelli Publish on social media, so you can soak up all of her amazing low-content publishing tips.
